No offense to the TI writers, but the only way to call for 3 losses this year is if you think Watson gets injured. If he's healthy throughout, I don't care about lack of depth at LB or inexperience on the OL. It won't matter because who the QB is.
This team top to bottom is unarguably more talented top to bottom than Oregon. Use whatever metric you want, recruiting rankings, NFL Draft position, whatever. When you have a truly special player at the most important position, all those typical weaknesses that can derail most teams just don't matter.
This team has light years better talent on the defensive side of the ball, and our coaching there is beyond discussion in comparison to Oregon's. Our skill players are elite and surround potentially the best player in the country at the most important player in the country.
Again, no disrespect to the local boys, but Watson won't lose 3 games in any season as the starter while he's at Clemson. To say so is either to discount his abilities, the importance of the QB position, or the overall ability of the coaching staff to mold atleast a serviceable squad outside of Watson.
