We learned that wanting to fire healthy unvaccinated workers isn’t a good campaign promise.

You guys all of a sudden trust elections now? LOL
what I trust is that people are rejecting this administration, its policies, and have significant buyers remorse. the red wave coming in 2022 is going to be epic ....

and as I said in another thread, the Dem's strategy of tying candidates to Trump, failed epically last night. The only strategy the Dem's have left is their widely unpopular progressive agenda.

Buyer's remorse would indicate they wish they'd chosen the other guy, but I don't believe that's the message at all. I think the message is that they still don't like Trump but they also don't like the far-left. They thought they were voting for normalcy and instead got an agenda that was way too liberal and this is their way of protesting. We all wish we had better choices than we had in 2020 but the nation clearly rejected one of them, without fully embracing the other.

I think this is accurate. People are sick to death of 'cancel culture', the extreme left, vaccine mandates, and uber-lib BS.

But I don't think this is new. I think 2020 - including Georgia - was a rebuke of Trump, not the Republicans as a whole.

I think 2024 depends on Trump staying the fvck out of the race. He could probably easily win a congressional seat and maybe even a senate seat. But he needs to stay out of the Presidential race.
