but if Williams doesn't try to score a TD on that play, he probably doesn't injure himself. I think the toe tap and more importantly, his right toe first tap, is what cost him from being able to gather himself before slamming into the goalpost stanchion or whatever it's called.
Really a shame he got hurt on such a meaningless play in the grand scheme of things. The only good that came out of it was at least he scored the TD.
