We're Back - Tucker moves to Twitter

You think admitted liar Tucker gives a shit about Free Speech? He literally lied constantly to build his audience.

What does lying have to do with Free Speech? You are allowed to tell lies ..... thats the essence of free speech.

Do you think, literally even 1 newscaster, has not told a lie? Of course they tell things that inadvertantly turn out to be true. But that is different than purposefully misleading like Schiffhead, Russian Collusion, 50 intelligence agents blah blah blah. The whole leftist agenda is based on lies. Literally. Its no surpise the left doesn't like Twitter 2.0

5 million views already on his video released a couple hours ago. Guess people are just dying to see him lie.

Who is your preferred broadcaster? Who do you think hasn't lied? Put their name here and let's discuss. I bet you won't because that person doesn't exist.

Slight difference between inadvertently making a mistake and intentionally and admittedly lying to your audience. Instead of whataboutism how about you demand honesty from a known and admitted liar.

Name your preferred non- lying newscaster?

I’m just asking for one. Name just one

Please explain in detail how Tucker knowingly and intentionally lies. Popcorn in hand.

“I hate him passionately,” Carlson texted Pfeiffer on January 4, days prior to the riot at the U.S. Capitol. He added, of Trump’s presidency, “We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There really isn’t an upside to Trump.”

On election denialism:
On November 5, in response to his producer Alex Pfeiffer, who had written that “I really think many on ‘our side’ are being reckless demagogues right now,” Carlson wrote, “Of course they are. We’re not going to follow them. The sun will rise tomorrow and we want to wake up intact. I always think that.”

On Sidney Powell:
In a message from November 4, Carlson texted a colleague that there was “no doubt there was fraud” in the election. “But at this point, Trump and Lin and Powell have so discredited their own case, and the rest of us to some extent, that it’s infuriating. Absolutely enrages me.” (Tucker was referring to Lin Wood, another Trump lawyer.)

In a text on November 9, Carlson referenced Powell’s Dominion claims, commenting, “The software shit is absurd.” (Carlson then said on television that night, “We don’t know anything about the software that many say was rigged. We don’t know. We ought to find out.”)

Per Slate, around November 16, Carlson texted a producer that “Sidney Powell is lying. ****ing bitch.” He also called Powell an “unguided missile,” “dangerous as hell,” and a “crazy person.”

“Sidney Powell is lying by the way. I caught her. It’s insane,” Carlson texted Ingraham on November 18.

The Daily Beast reports that on November 20, during an exchange with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Carlson referred to Powell as a “****,” adding “I mean it.” The comment came after Baier and Carlson discussed an appearance Powell made on Maria Bartiromo’s show, in which Powell dismissed Carlson as “rude” for demanding that she back up her fantastical election-fraud claims with evidence.

On November 21, Carlson referred to Powell as a “nutcase.”

In a text on November 22, Carlson again called Powell a “****,” this time to an unnamed Fox News staffer. (His use of this slur may have been a precipitating factor in his ouster from Fox News.) He added, “I hope he’s punished.”

On the same day, he told Ingraham that Powell was “a nut, as you said at the outset. It totally wrecked my weekend. Wow… I had to try make the WH disavow her, which they obviously should have done long before.”

And in another exchange on November 22, this time over email, Carlson confirmed to Daily Caller co-founder Neil Patel that he had been behind Powell’s dismissal from Trump’s legal team, and wrote “I’ve got a high tolerance for crazy as you know but she was too much.”

On a Fox executive
Per the Wall Street Journal, Carlson also called an unnamed Fox News executive a “****.” The exact wording of the text is not known.

On Trump skipping Biden’s inauguration:
“Hard to believe. So destructive,” he texted Pfeiffer on November 10. “It’s disgusting. I’m trying to look away.”

On the prospect of ditching Trump coverage on Fox:
Two days before the Capitol riot, Carlson wrote to a colleague that “we are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can’t wait.” The day after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, he texted his producer that “Trump has two weeks left. Once he’s out, he becomes incalculably less powerful, even in the minds of his supporters. He’s a demonic force, a destroyer. But he’s not going to destroy us. I’ve been thinking about this every day for four years.”

Rupert Murdoch, Fox Corporation chairman
On Hannity’s and Ingraham’s on-air claims of election fraud:
“Maybe Sean and Laura went too far,” Murdoch wrote the day after Biden’s inauguration in an email to Suzanne Scott. “All very well for Sean to tell you he was in despair about Trump … but what did he tell his viewers?”

On the infamous Rudy Giuliani press conference with the hair dye:
“Stupid and damaging,” Murdoch wrote to a friend on November 19, the day of Giuliani’s meltdown. “The only one encouraging Trump and misleading him. Both increasingly mad.” Murdoch said he had heard that Trump was “apparently not sleeping and bouncing off walls” and that he worried about “what he might do as president.”

On calling the election for Biden:
“I hate our Decision Desk people!” Murdoch emailed former New York Post editor Col Allan on the day the election was called. “And pollsters! Some of the same people I think. Just for the hell of it still praying for Az to prove them wrong!” Later that day, he emailed his son Lachlan, writing that Fox News “should and could” have called the election for Biden before any other network. “But at least being second saves us a Trump explosion!”

On how to handle Trump postelection:
“The more I think about McConnell’s remarks or complaint, the more I agree,” Murdoch wrote in an email on Biden’s Inauguration Day. “Trump insisting on the election being stolen and convincing 25 percent of Americans was a huge disservice to the country. Pretty much a crime. Inevitable it blew up Jan. 6th. Best we don’t mention his name unless essential and certainly don’t support him. We have to respect people of principle and if it comes to the Senate, don’t take sides. I know he is being over-demonized, but he brought it on himself.”

Laura Ingraham, Fox News host
On Rudy Giuliani
“Rudy such an idiot,” Ingraham texted to an unknown recipient on January 12, 2021.

On pressure from Fox News executives:
“We are officially working for an organization that hates us,” Ingraham texted Carlson and Hannity on November 16.

“Why would anyone defend that call?” Hannity asked in response, referring to the early decision to call Arizona for Joe Biden.

“I’m disgusted at this point,” replied Carlson.

“I think the three of us have enormous power,” Ingraham wrote. “We have more power than we know or exercise.”

“I hate him passionately,” Carlson texted Pfeiffer on January 4, days prior to the riot at the U.S. Capitol. The question remains. Are you really that simple? Giving Williamston a bad name. Do you understand the difference between reporting on a story based on public and known info and then also having personal opinions on the subject matter? Tucker never said on the air that the election was stolen. He brought people on at times that stated a case for it. There is a big difference numbnuts. You are wrong which is the case most of the time.

You are so laughably sad. Dude, get some help.

Also, you keep mentioning where I live which is frankly kind of odd. A little bit stalkerish.

It is stunning how easily people are flat out willing to lie…. Constantly.

But then…. I think it’s blowback from learning about:
Santa Claus
Easter Bunny
Leprechaun
the Bible

The inflammatory nature of these things and no I’m not bashing the Bible. It’s some of the outrageous aspects which cause people to question stories from 1800 to 4000 years ago passed on from person to person from language to language. Yet, some devoutly follow every word in spite of it touching/translating/teaching through so many hands.

So, it doesn’t surprise me these same psychological principles are applied to devout libs and pubs. Unrelenting to shape and craft narratives that revert to outcomes you want to hear. Truly remarkable what we do to ourselves.

At this point, why don’t the Bills just believe Norwood made the FG and put a replica Lombardi trophy in their lobby?

So which of the two major conflicting versions of reality do you believe is more true than the other?

i can't get enough of the left being completely outta their tree about tucker carlson. nothing i've seen about his supposed sins is remotely as bad as those of way more powerful people in recent years. saw a clip of fatboy stelty about to cry. i never watched his show or any news channel, but i've heard him a couple times on podcasts. knowing that's the guy liberals crack the shts over is hilarious.

not really sure where this obsession with truth came from anyway....they didn't register a single complaint about covid lies, vax lies, laptop lies, russiagate lies, christine blasey ford lies, jussie smollett lies and on and on. their brains are so damaged. it leaves them this blend of confidence and stupidity that renders em completely incapable of self awareness. absolutely no idea they are exactly the kind of muppets that allowed hitler to rise to power. they just cheer with the mob and can't see the irony of them labeling anyone who's not with them on everything a fascist.

I'm dying laughing at his 660k views. Remember how excited you Tucker fans were after his first post-firing tweet got millions of views? And I said that anyone who thought that those numbers were indicative of future performance was just ignorant. Yep.

At least you’re admitting that both flat out lie. My bullshit meter runs constantly. Doesn’t matter if it’s college football, COVID, coffee, my wife, or MSM. It’s all the same to me. Logic, reason, rationalizing facts is the ONLY way to derive positive outcomes in life, not ideology. No matter how large or small, when being flat out lied to, it’s a direct insult to the population as a whole.

I asked my VERY lib MIL just last night. Who….. who is the role model today you want your grandkids to identify with in public office? And it’s not for my kids I’m concerned about per se because they have solid stable parents. It’s the millions of rudderless kids with shoddy upbringing seeing everyday how fvckin pathetic adults in leadership positions behave. Sorry, I’m not into identifying the biggest midget.

My MIL was of course speechless. Couldn’t muster a name, not even a Republican acting with pure class and respect for their role in office.

The abuse of the American public by these people is just insane. Daily carnival barkers. Only good thing recently is DeSantis blocking Chinese real estate. On the other end, he’s constantly stoking flames with a large employer/taxpayer over free speech. WTF.

According to Twitter his video yesterday has been watched 17.7 million times and has been seen served 80 million times as of this post. Please clarify what you are referencing

I stand corrected. I was looking at the views in the original post.

For the record, I thought Tucker would join Twitter and i stated that it is a risky path for him that could backfire. That being said, I think Tucker will have major success on Twitter and others will be forced to compete there. The ability for people to interact with, dispute, and discuss commentary is a game changer that can not and will not be allowed to happen on MSM.

Twitter 2.0 is a game changer. This is a huge win for Free Speech and should be celebrated by both parties.

I would love to see someone represent the left on Twitter.

And Community Notes will be there to referee the whole thing. Its going to be great. People do not realize the significance of Community Notes yet. So far, while not perfect, it is the best way to dig and find the truth on the market.

Truth and Freedom will win in the end and I think Twitter will compete with the Major networks in the next 5-10 years if not sooner.

It’s funny….. I’ve been beating the drum for 20 years of what global communication platforms being the demise of society.

It’s taking a South African man with FU money to save ourselves. There’s a chance but we most stop the lucrative grift that both parties abuse the public on.

All this means is that the chances of you losing your mobile home after being conned into buying magic beans from a right wing huckster just increased by 1000%.

LMAO.. You mean how he texts about how he hates Trump and then basically gives him head on camera?
IDGAF if he likes Trump or not. Give me the news. Is it news that Tucker has multiple types of feelings towards Trump? I don't think so.

Have you ever changed your opinion on how you feel about someone? Yes, Yes you have. Have you ever felt differently about someone with respect to different situations or context? Yes, yes you have.

So the worst thing you can say about Tucker is that he talks our of both sides of his mouth in regards to Trump. Now let's do your favorite newscaster. Who do you prefer?

I don't have a favorite Newscaster as I don't watch the evening news anymore. The question I answered was to show how Tucker intentionally lied... He texted that he hates Trump and didn't believe that the election was stolen... He certainly didn't give that impression in public.

I honestly don't watch Tucker and don't know what he said about Trump on TV. I know what he said in the texts about Trump from reading portions of reporting on the dominion lawsuit. To me, it just doesn't matter. People change their opinions on others all the time. Maybe he hates Trump with respect to his opinion on election fraud but respects his opinion on other aspects. Maybe he hates Trumps personality but loves his political opinions. Doesn't really matter to me.

Changing opinions is nothing compared to the factual lies put out by CNN and MSDNC and broadcast news.

Funny how those comments lead to a massive settlement. Apparently Fox Legal didn't agree with your assessment of whether he/Fox was being honest.

The comments that he hates Trump lead to a $780mm settlement?
Partially... The text comments (from Tucker and others at Fox) CLEARLY showed that they didn't believe that Trump won the election and that he was full of crap with his allegations of a rigged election. The texts also showed that they didn't want to say that because they were afraid that they'd lose MORE viewers.

So they intentionally gave MAJOR airtime and supported Trump's position of election fraud.
