Boy, sounds like the S.C. faithful have already packed it in for the Season after 3 games. Listening to Tony Morrell on Plyler's show this morning, what a change and all doom/gloom at this point.
Some of the highlights I heard on the interview were,
Plyler mentioned it was a good opportunity for the Gamecocks to get a win this weekend against UCF, Tony commented, "yea, it would be great to force a punt in the 1st half for the 1st time this season", ouch!
Also asked if winning 8 games was attainable, Tony's comment, "Nope, 8 win's is a Pipe Dream at this point", another ouch!
Went on to mention that Change was imminent now but didn't know what Tanner or the Admin would do with Spurrier. Ole Ball Coach has all his family now in Columbia and really likes it there. This will get interesting down the stretch to see how Spurrier is handled by S.C. Admin. IF a change is made at HC position.
One other comment was about P. Cooper. Said he's really frustrated about the lack of opportunities with touches in all 3 games and upset he has NO help at the other WR positions. It will be interesting to see how he plays from here on out.
So let's sit back, watch and enjoy as our rivals down at Mid-Land Tech unravel and turn on each other. Reality is starting to settle in on this crowd. Couldn't happen to a better fan base!
