Yep, definitely a low point in American history. But as the old saying goes when one door closes... just lock it and fire up the bong baby!!! Whether you are conservative or liberal, the election couldn't have gone better for supporters of sticky buds and our right to smoke them up!
As you may know, the Moore act which removes Marijuana from the schedule of drugs, passed the House of Representatives. The prospects in the Senate were bleak despite supporters from both sides of the aisle. Moscow Mitch does not support legalizing pot and no bill that he does not support will ever see the floor of the Senate. He's out the door as the leader of the Senate and that idiot Schumer is going to be the man in charge. Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day and Schumer has pledged to bring the act up for a vote. I'd give it even odds (maybe even a bit better) of being passed.
There's a really good chance that pot will be legal at a national level by the end of the year!!! A great day for weed, and not a bad day at all for snack foods!
