Hell yes to this. There's so much that is great about our nation. It would be amazing if we'd start to see the unique and wonderful things about the United States again. There's just so much. Even in this difficult time most people are far better than we give them credit for. Step one is turning our backs on all the partisan blow-hards who just want conflict.

You are absolutely correct. We need to listen to each other again, neither side has a "supremacy" of opinion. We can find reasonable solutions together.

wow, thank you for sharing that, what an amazing story. This also gives me hope that we can get every american (who wants to leave) out of Afghanistan. And interesting to read that soldiers and aid workers worked together.

p.s. if this had been a political finger pointing / I told you so / see I was right post it would be two pages already. Sadly, nobody is interested in stories about heroism, working together, etc. anymore.

This is awesome, thank you for sharing.

If anything this whole experience this last couple of years has taught that life is precious and family is important.

As long as no one loses sight of those 2 things it doesn’t matter what politics has to say.

Yes one would think. Most nationalistic conservatives or constitutional conservatives would like to see wtf is going on with our elections and why Biden is tied at the hip with China. Transparency and truth will bring us together, it’s the fear, deceit, and constant gaslighting that have everyone on edge and polarized. Something has got to give and unfortunately it appears like a dam is about to break and flood the US with all the information that has been suppressed in the media.
