What needs to happen for Clemson to play post-season b-ball?

NCAA - win the ACC tournament. That one I understand

NIT - I know all regular season champs who don't win their conference tourney or get an NCAA at-large are auto qualifiers. What I don't know, is what criteria do they use to select at large teams. Do we need to be above .500 in conference?

CIT/CBI - would we refuse bids to these tournaments?
