I mean ...shoot ... Id give Andrew Yang a hard look. I disagree with him a lot, but he is the only one that seems to be coming out with new ideas that arent bat shit.

I hear ya. Not sure I can get all aboard on Haley yet, but I would not be opposed. This thread was to seriously and honestly dip my toe in the possibility of what another democratic candidate, that is not bat shit crazy, would bring. All the talk is Trump, Trump. Trump, but I never hear anyone on the left tell me how the left will fix the left?

The commiecrats love this attitude. They do not even need to cancel you out with fake ballots. You self cancel yourself due to an opinion on Trump as a person and not looking at him as a leader only. I am not saying this to be a smart ass as I think you are a nice person based on your posts. I firmly believe in the the principle of the lesser of two evils when voting. I will vote for DeSantis fast over any democrat even though I am a very strong Trump supporter.

The problem is that even if you can overlook his character flaws, there’s still the objective math problem of him being unable to win enough electoral college votes.

So between Trump’s flaws and the inability to win the general, serious people have all moved on and are looking for the best candidate.

I dont think he is a good leader either. Being loud and obnoxious doesnt make you a good leader. He is also brash and impulsive which are terrible qualities in a leader. And on top of all of that I think he is a complete trash human being.

If he wouldve just kept his mouth shut or shown the slightest bit of grace and stoicism, he'd be a lot more popular with at least me. Instead, I see him as a weak, whiny, soft, belly aching internet troll. I just cant vote for someone like that, no matter how much I may agree with the majority of the policies he supports.

And ya man, I think we align on most things politically ... we are just on opposite sides of this Trump thing.
