I don't get why the majority of people don't see what I see, he ran from a losing season? He is a sore loser, he always could talk trash but never could take it very well.
I don't think he is mentally ill or any health problems(if so, I do feel for him). He quit on the players he "recruited" to the school. IMO if it has nothing to do with this season and being winless in the SEC, he would have told the players and South Carolina "hey I plan to hang it up at the end of the year".
I can promise you if he was 3-0 or 4-1 he wouldn't be quitting half way through the year. No doubt he was a great coach but he is also a jerk and a sore loser, to me this is just another example. I know he wanted to win a SEC title while the east was extremely down. He can see that UF and UT are on their way back up.
South Carolina had only 1 win that was looking probable, and that was El Cid, but that even wasn't a guarantee.
