The only legitimate argument is schedule making and that a baring up to about 2 years out.
I still don't get why it's ok at some 2003 point in time that says, Clemson, you'll play NCSU and Wake every year but the 50 years of UNC/UVA/Duke are gone forever.
The ACC SHOULD have only one single interest, identifying the 2 best programs. It's not set that way.
Screw the NCAA, be the innovator. Make a single division, rotate home and away every year and peel off to the next grouping. If you aren't playing your rival that year, tough. Be good enough to play them in the title game.
