Spurrier never put the blame on himself for any of the losses that happened during his career there. He always blamed players and said some less than flattering things about them to the media. Well, even when he abandoned his team and is leaving their program in shambles, it is like he has completely brainwashed their fanbase. I couldn't/can't believe some of the things I am reading/hearing. The fans are blaming the players for quitting on Spurrier. UNREAL. Even when he does something something this they still can't see that Spurrier is a brat that can't handle any sort of criticism.
That program does not give 0.02 about their players. Blackshear and others have a right to be mad. They were lied to, used, and abandoned. Now their own fans are turning on them. Even now, they care more about a coach that is deserting them than the players.
