Believe it or not, there is a decent chance . The selection committee ranks the top 15 teams in eight regions. As of this morning the Tigers are #5 in their group and if they somehow win a couple of games then they will have a good shot at hosting . Apparently JL made a pretty good argument for Clemson to be in after beating FSU, despite our ugly midweek losses. Unless we go 0-3 then we are in. If we somehow beat FSU and Louisville then our chances of hosting go way up.
SC is in a different region and as of this morning they are not in. They will have to win 2+ just to get in. Think about the shit storm in Columbia if they don't even make the field.
