I have just started dabbling at sipping single malt scotch. All that I have tried is a few different mini-bottles and 12 year Grangestone (Total Wines, house brand).
Grangestone is supposedly a highland type, although I don't really know what that means. I have finished 2 bottles, bought a third, but either the latest aren't as smooth, or my expectations are on the rise.
I could use some suggestions on the budget or moderate price scale.
