Just a thought, but would South Carolina consider hiring Joe Moglia? Apparently he is a good coach and without a doubt his passion is football. I would think his salary means nothing to him (highest net worth of any football coach in America) and he would (or could afford to) take a look at Clemson and our willingness to pay top dollar for assistant coaches and direct part or all of his salary towards hiring the best assistant coaches and recruiters available. Not saying this is something that might happen but not sure it would not be a bad move for South Carolina or any school looking to go to the next level of "big boy" football. Certainly would be outside of the box thinking but possibly a great hire for a South Carolina or perhaps a Maryland.
