Reutors did an interview with Giancarlo Granda, a 29 year old ex pool boy for Jerry Falwell, Jr. Falwell admitted a couple of days ago that his wife had an extra-marital affair with Granda. Now Granda claims that Falwell knew about it and watched them having sex. The Falwells had met Granda at a Florida Resort a few years ago. They had partnered a venture owning a LGBT friendly hostel before have a falling out. Falwell, Jr. is the same sdeazebag who was president of Liberty university when they hired Hugh Freeze the ex ole Miss coach. At Ole Miss the school was placed on 2 years probation for athletic and academic violations. He was fired after it was learned that Freeze had used his Ole Miss cell phone to contact escort services a number of times. That university (Liberty) and Falwell, Jr. and Freeze seem well suited for one another.

What a cuck

The fact that Falwell and his wife were in a relationship with Giancarlo isn't what makes him a sleaze. That's their business- and good for them if it makes them happy. Who gives a sh!t? The only thing that makes this at all interesting is the blatant hypocrisy, and we see it all the time with the religious right when it comes to sexuality and reproduction. I've lost count of the rabidly anti-gay Congressmen who've been busted on Grindr, or caught with male escorts, - or the rabidly anti-abortion legislators who get caught arranging abortions for their mistress. It's very predictable. The people who use those issues to gain power so often are projecting their own "sins." And those rules never apply to the people in power...

Stories like this make me happy I am my wife's pool boy.

What goes on behind closed doors is none of my business. So long as it is legal and not forcing anyone into anything they do not want to do who really cares. Hypocrisy is such a shameful thing. It rears its head on Capital Hill a ton and both sides are guilty as hell. I enjoy seeing people that sit in their ivory towers get brought down a notch or two.

Falwell is a disgrace and will get what is coming to him (unless he actually truly repents but even repentance is a gift from God). This is no shock. The church has always had wolves among the sheep and the Bible warns that will always be the case. It’s also no shock that all the liberal losers gather in the same thread to revel in his fall and lump all Christians and “right wingers” in the same category. It reminds me up a pack of hyenas. Carry on lol.

The Falwell's are historically garbage humans, as this excerpt from "Strength from the Journey" suggests. Says about Jerry's father and Jerry for deeming it worthy of inclusion.

I don’t deny they’re garbage . Just wish they would not do it and claim the name of Christ. Some in this thread imply that all outspoken Christians are of the same ilk and that is far from the truth. The majority of Clemson’s football staff are professing Christians.

Now he's saying he didn't resign.

This is fun to ........ watch.
This June 2019 article from the NYT about the "pool boy", the Falwells, Trump, and Michael Cohen's help to catch and kill photos of the Falwells and the pool boy makes for an even more interesting read. Rumor had it that Cohen helped the Fallwells catch and kill some photos similar to how he handled some of Trump's flings. For these efforts the Falwells were rumored to be beholden to Trump, earning Falwell’s groveling endorsement over Ted Cruz.

Really...where were You As:
1. Our President Said Joe Biden & Democrats Hate God!
2. Rush Limbaugh Called Sen. Harris “A Whore”!
3. Bill Clinton....
4. White Evangelicals etc...

Listen My Friend, As A Christian, I can take the Judgment & All! However, I really must rely on My Faith when; Someone claims to be with Jesus but cannot Acknowledge Their Short Comings Or Judgments Of Others!

Finally, as it says in The Word Of God; Luke 7:37 Judge not he be Judged & Luke 12:48 ...whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required! According to The Word Of God, Mr. Falwell has to answer to God because he constantly Luke 7:37 while not adhering with Luke 12:48! Proverbs 3:5-6 & Let All God’s Children Say, Amen!

Very true @tigerGUY. As a registered Republican though, this kind of hypocrisy is a big problem because of the constant barrage of “were the party of family values.” It’s also one of the main problems I have with the evangelical Christians supporting Trump. There are many, many really good Christians that walk the walk, but these guys aren’t it.

Don't pigeon hole people. I vote Republican, however I have little use for the mainstream of the party. Neither party is for the people. "We the People" understand the pain of purple dildos served dry.

Met him once. Not impressed in the least. Got a bad feeling from the get go. And I have the God given ability to read people very well. It’s referred to as “emotional intelligence”. That being said, I’m very disappointed in some people in this forum who are taking great pleasure in this man’s downfall. It’s a great insight in to your soul and true character. Isaiah 5:20 says, “Whoa to those who call evil good and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness.” In other words, do not rejoice in iniquity. BillyD

Agree completely on Falwell and hypocrisy in general. I Imagine Falwell and Clinton would be good friends and are two of the biggest liars walking around, while both have huge admiration from a large segment of the population.

Knowing people like you served our country at the highest level helps me sleep well at night.

Dont think folks are praising sin or iniquity or this guys downfall--he outed himself as a wolf in sheep's clothing that uses the name of God to enrich himself. Many of us see this guy on fox news, taking public political stances and we see through the schtick, the hypocrisy. Happy that others can final see it too--truth and light win over depravity and the works of the devil, no?

Many of us say the same thing about Trump, who never goes to church or reads the bible but basks in the prosperity gospel when it suits him (and one Corinthians) or holds a bible upside down as a crowd is tear-gassed. Same hypocrisy.

There’s hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle(Clinton / Falwell), and I do believe that’s one thing ALL of us can agree on. If a person doesn’t see it then they are fooling themselves and lying to everyone else. It’s there in plain sight.

Do have to agree with @24TIGER , some people are delighting in the downfall as it’s being made public. I’m a conservative individual and didn’t delight in Clinton’s crap, I was embarrassed for his daughter and our country.

He's a bad dude. Personally I see nothing wrong with celebrating/appreciating the public exposure (no pun intended) of bad dudes. It's a public service.
