So everybody was disappointed with the outcome of the Duke game for #9 Clemson. Sure, Clemson actually moved the ball well and played decent defense, but they lost by 21 in a game they were supposed to win pretty easily. AP voters looked at Clemson struggling in the first half with CSU, and they dropped Clemson out. That was mostly reasonable.
However, let's look at this week. Clemson still isn't ranked, but we've got Florida at 25 and Tennessee at 23 after Florida beat Tennessee by 13 in a game Florida dominated. Tennessee was ranked #11 going into that game, and Florida was unranked and not getting votes. Florida also lost a game in which they were not competitive against #14 Utah. Duke is now #18.
So how are both Florida and Tennessee ranked, but Clemson isn't ranked after starting at #9? Why is Iowa ranked after we found out that Iowa State isn't any good this week? Why is Washington only 8th when they've probably looked like the most impressive team in the country?
Any other gripes?
