I haven’t been able to watch too many of our games, but I keep track of virtually every game via the Twitter account throughout the games.
Our bats are obviously red hot and our starting pitching and closing seem very solid. But our middle relievers seem to get absolutely hammered by opposing teams. So many games that feel like we should be running the other team out of the stadium have become tight, late inning games or come from behind losses.
Now, we’ve had some me really nice and clutch offense, of course. And you love to see that develop. So much confidence and moxie from our come backs and never being out of a game.
But is the bullpen just loaded with young guys? Short on talent? Both?
Feels like that’s the Achilles heal to this team that’s going to prevent them from being a national championship level team.
