Just read it as well. Challenge though is we are dependent on the chips across multiple industries so a bit premature to shut it down when the new intel facility isn't built on US soil yet. This could also raise the potential of China invading Taiwan.
So definitely some pros and cons here
The U.S. is in danger of a destructive war with China because we depend on Taiwan for so many of our strategically crucial computer chips. Congress recently passed a bill spending billions to construct chip factories in the U.S.
But it turns out companies are scaling back their plans, because the bill is gummed up with so many DEI provisions and quotas that they don’t think it’s worth it.
DEI is the enemy to American greatness.

Maybe China Joe was so insulted by the measly $4k payment that the Chinese funneled to him through Hunter’s company that he decided to kneecap their chip industry.
It’s ok to have Ivanka and Jared on the White House payroll, but heaven forbid Hunter do business
Why didn't Trump sanction the Chinese semiconductor industry to the same degree as Biden? I thought he was a tough guy. Did he enjoy that cake with Xi too much?
Biden moves are unfortunately in advance of his backroom handshake to lay down while China takes Taiwan. Has nothing to do with Trump. I loved the way that Trump handled China.
