No choice but to see how the season plays out.
Asking to relieve CBB, bench Hunter, or to shoot less 3s and be some team that can consistently create off the dribble is unrealistic. I do fully agree though that Hall needs to spend the majority of the time on the block though.
This team was built in a very specific manner…experienced, tough, post scoring, 3pt shooting, & good team defense. That model played out nicely early, but it has not in conference play. No excuses, but they still have a decent chance at making the tournament & have some talent to win games there IF they make it. They just have to get back to what worked and rebuild some confidence by getting a couple wins in a row.
Nothing wrong with complaining because this team should be better than 4-6 in the conference, but let the season play out or at least make recommendations on changes that are realistic. There are not 1 on 1 perimeter creators or a lot of plus athletes on this team. To win the best guys will have to play to their strengths well. They were earlier and they are not now. Let’s see how things play out.
