Clemson issues - very obvious everyone and knows what they are!

Its not Klubnick not the OL not this or that ... cant be fixed with simply replacing Goodwin or bringing in Scott. But it is simple and I have read the real issues many many times on the board.

1. Coordinators / Assistants
2. Transfer Portal
3. Football admin training, recruiting, and all staff

Dabo build possibly the best program .. definitely the top 2-3 programs in all of college football by
1. Coaching - finding the best coordinators and assistants in all of college ball and holding them to a high standard. Scott Elliot and Venables left and he changed his philosophy. Dabo changed Clemson. New philosophy - not hire the best coaches as the top priority but lets keep this group of coaches, the team togethers. lets keep the good ole boys all employed .. lets not fired guys, replace guys and hurt anyones feelings. Jim Leonard, Aranda types and the like wanted to come to Clemson and bring staff with them but Dabo no longer wanted a DC to tell him what assistants would be kept and who would go .. things had changed he now calls the shots on offense and defense not the coordinators. Young Dabo was x and os ignorant, a great motivator and a great recruiter and depended on great coordinators - coaches to run the offense / defense and it worked. The new Dabo thinks he knows as much as Venables and can help run the defense. HINT: Saban does not run his offense .. he is smart enough to know he is not elite at offense and depends on someone smarter than he is. If he is not happy he fires the guy .. but surely does not try and run the offense. Clemson boosters gave Dabo unlimited money to get the best DC in the nation .. dabo knew better and hired Goodwin who was not even qualified to interview for the job at UGA BAMA Mich or OSU .. horrible hire. Actually crazy hire. Clemson is too big to gamble on stuff like that, specially when they do not need to. Dabo helps Goodwin decide who is a good assistant coach, GA and analyst. Details that should be left to an elite DC. Venable made those hires and they should be made by someone like Aranda or Leonard or Venable not Dabo and Goodwin. The best of the best wanted to come to Clemson and Dabo turned them down.

2. transfer portal - everyone is using the portal - nobody - not bama or UGA can avoid the portal - dont use it and it puts you at a disadvantage.
3. Admin, analyst, GA and support staff. Most fans do not know the shear number of admin staff involved in recruiting, film review, nutrition, helping the coaches run the program. Elite coordinators and Dabo had assembles a staff second to none. They have been replaces with friend and family and folk that are okay. Clemson no longer has and elite behind the scenes support group .. the best one have been robbed by Scott, Ellliot, Venables and other team recently and not replaced by elite special folks.


Summary - the folks under Dabo were elite, best of the best 3-5 years ago. Clemson could our coach you, out scheme you, our recruit you and develop their players better. As an FSU fans I was envious of what Clemson and Dabo has organized and put together. Currently, the folks under Dabo - the Coordinators, assistants, GAs, Analyst and support staff are a shell of what they were. FSU does not have a staff like UGA or BAMA but it is better than Clemson. Again, I am speaking of the whole staff down the GAs film review nutritional and everyone. Building a staff is hard and some times it does not work
