Seems to me that Dabo is gonna be forced to use the portal whether he likes it or not because of the higher volume of our players transferring. Up until now he has been able to keep the number of scholarship players at 85 through the high school ranks because of our relatively low number of transfers. But with more of our players leaving now I dont think he can simply utilize high school recruits because of the lack of experience/talent coming in. A good number of these incoming recruits will end up transferring at some point anyway. I think we have to replace many of our transfer players through the portal. This will ensure that we have a good balance of experienced players and younger players on the roster.
