Paul’s article got me thinking, particularly regarding our next wave of recruiting and offers. It will not come as a shock to you that I disagree with the size of our current board. 44 offers out in February is too few. It should be 70 ish by now.
Our board is too small, given how the recruiting calendar is setting up and how important this class is. And I don’t think we should expand it simply based on us potentially missing on some of our early targets, but I think we could do even better at many positions (not including QB of course - were in fall back mode there).
So, here are 20 prospects that should be offered immediately:

(2) These guys don’t have a ton of stars behind their names, meaning I personally believe if we showed great interest now we could get in on the ground floor. Now just because they aren’t highly rated doesn’t mean schools aren’t on them, but those profiles matter sometimes, physiologically to a kid. (3) let’s save this receipt, but I will wager this: of those 20 guys only 6 are current 4 stars…I think 18/20 end up 4 stars or better by cycles end.
