People got up in arms about the BCS because “computers”. But if we just continued the same BCS model into the 4 team CFP era, all of the same 36 teams to date would have been selected. The positioning of 1-4 may have changed but the 4 teams selected every time. It’s why the CFP IMO has been nothing more than a BCS Final 4 matchup committee. The job by the AP/Coaches and the computers has always done the job for them.
I’ve followed BCS Know How and the Massey Composite(which was great but Massey quit doing the consolidation this year. Lame) for the last decade. Hasn’t failed yet.
As BCS Know How says on their X page, as long as AP/Coaches/Sagarin come in their usual ~1130am time, the “BCS” will be updated around 1145.
