Obviously a BIG move for the weed lovers here. As we all know, this moves Marijuana from having no accepted medical use to being in the same category as Steriods.

The agency’s move, confirmed to the AP on Tuesday by five people familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive regulatory review, clears the last significant regulatory hurdle before the agency’s biggest policy change in more than 50 years can take effect.

For this to happen, the request from the DEA must go though the White House Office of Management and Budget for review, which will be a formality at this point as Biden actually requested the review. After that, there will be a public comment period (which will be a circus for sure, but as almost 70% of Americans think it should be legal, I don't see any real issues here.
Obviously this is a big step toward eventual legalization, but this essentially makes Medical Marijuana legal across the country federally. Oh God... Is that my PTSD kicking in?
