Long story short, The wife and I bought a new SUV this weekend. I haggled my balls off to get the price where I wanted it to be, also found out they had microphones in the negotiating room...(not sure if that's legal). Anyway, now they're hassling my wife so she can get me to sign a contract with them for new financing after we already agreed on the terms of the financing and down payment. They already have my trade-in and my down payment.
I told them I'm not signing any more paperwork I want The payments we agreed to when I drove off the lot. I asked him several times for them to email me the new contract, they said they cannot do that because it's not the original document.
I told him over the phone if they want the SUV they can come and get it but they better bring back my trade-in and my check. They called my wife after I talked with them and threaten to repossess the new car ( which is BS). Now my wife is pissed at me because I won't cooperate with their fake threats.
What should I do? Stand my ground or appease my wife?
