I took a look back at ESPN's Upset Alerts...

in which of course Clemson was mentioned as being on alert.

Upset Alert

Other alerts were Washington being on alert vs Boise St. Washington won 56-19.
and Illinois vs Toledo. Illinois kicked a last second FG to win 30-28.

For the record, here is my prediction for the Duke game...

"Elko is a very good coach, and the Offense has a tried and true signal caller in (Leonard I think?)
I think they will be very good on Offense again this year, with some gaps in the D.

Will be a very good test for the Defense early, however if the Offense can execute...we should be able to move the ball on them.

Duke was better on D last year IMO, and UNC put 38 on them. ( we held UNC to 10 in the ACCCG)

I suspect, we will have some miscues, and some issues... BUT I think we can run the ball on Duke. They were quite stingy with the run last year... but if we can get to the second level... I think we can move chains.

So... I see a close game for the first quarter and a half. Maybe a 14-10 type of score.

Open it up a bit in the 3rd, 35-10... but Duke will capitalize on a couple of 3 and outs... 35-24.

A late special teams/ defense score gives us a final 42-24 game.

People will gripe because it's "DUKE" but Duke might go bowling again this year. Hard to replicate their 9 wins from last year... but they have a legit chance to win 6 or more.

In fact Duke should be 3-1 when they play Notre Dame.

NC State is a toss up
and away games with FSU and Louisville do not look easy.
Wake and at UNC will be a split.
Should get the win against UVA... and Pitt is a toss up right now.

Duke could easily go 8-4. or 5-6."
