Just a quick update, but I spoke to my contact close to the situation in the Mason Short recruitment this morning.
He spoke very highly of Mason, stating that he is a very humble young man and would be a benefit to whichever locker room he winds up in. His personality is such that he is not necessarily one to want all of the attention on him.
The contact went so far as to say that Mason was, perhaps, even a bit embarrassed when Kirby Smart landed at the high school in his helicopter.
Apparently, Mason Has taken quite the liking to golf, and I’m not sure of the specifics here, but from what I gather has been using one of the golf tracer systems available locally alongside a Clemson coach, albeit my understanding is that this is being done remotely.
I’m a little fuzzy on how all that works.
Either way, this information came from a diehard Georgia fan.
