Before I get started, I’m fully aware the best step is to ask the athletic department directly, and I will do exactly that. I can’t do it at 6pm so I thought I’d throw the question out there….
My family hosts baseball players every summer for a Coastal Plains League team. My wife works in Human Resources for a local college and we just found out the team wants to send us a kid who just so happens to play for the same college where she works.
If we are providing room and board to a player of the college where my wife works, could this be considered an impermissible benefit?
Again, my wife will touch base with the AD in the morning, but with the wealth of knowledge and experience on this board, I thought it was worth throwing out there for the group. Thanks in advance.
