Is it possible Clemson will be better in the 2024 opener at every position than the starting lineup versus Duke this year? I am making a couple of assumptions.
1. A returning starter will be better than 2023.
2. Coach Rumph and Coach Luke will improve their guys.

Offense is returning nearly everyone except Will Putnam at center.

Defense will of course miss Tyler Davis, Nate Wiggins and Jeremiah Trotter. If my memory is correct, Trotter was somewhat slowed by injury early in the season. How fast will Sammy Brown jump in the mix? Wiggins was a stud so I don't see an improvement there. As far as Davis goes, I doubt we will be better but he was not as dominant as I hoped he would be this season.

I see an overall improvement in offensive line depth and a regression in defensive line depth. Clemson got huge contributions from freshmen Tyler Brown, TJ Parker, Khalil Barnes and Peter Woods. If we get half that much from incoming freshman in 2024, I think there will be definite improvement.
