For those of you who are trying to build your skill with the grill or those of you who simply like to track your cooks, I have created a draft of a simple BBQ Log Book which I'd like to share with you.
I looked at all I could find on the market, read the reviews, and looked for the complaints and compliments for each book. Then I crafted a draft of the basic log pages based on that research. I found that most/all of them are 6x9, and originally, I did my first draft in that size. When I printed it out, however, I found that there's really not a lot of room to take notes, so I switched to a letter-size format which I think will address the common complaint of not enough space to write.
Anyway, if you could/would download the draft (only two pages), print it out, and give it a try on your future cooks, I'd appreciate any feedback. I'm sure there's room for improvement.
(And yes, after 20+ years of making yearbooks, football programs, and cookbooks, I guess I just like designing books.)
