Have your dogs experienced or evidenced any joint problems?
Our most recent addition, now a year and 8 months old (he came to us via the Greenville County Animal Shelter, and he does not fit the mold of most Cavs, but DNA says he is 100% Cavalier), has begun to limp on occasion. Not continually, but often enough to be a concern.
A little research showed that they are subject to knee, hip, and elbow issues. Curious if any (@scott in nashville) had first-hand experience.
Either way, he'll be at the vet soonest. He's a total pain in the ass, but still my little guard dog.
Did I mention he's a total pain in my ass? Nothing like his "Big Sister,"who 100% meets the usual breed characteristics (calm, sweet, loving). But I will not let him live in pain. I'll get him whatever help he needs.
@Cris_Ard, do whatever you must with this post. Just reaching out for others' experiences.
