OT: Early Retirement

I am contemplating early retirement. I just turned 56 and am thinking 58, but I am concerned about the cost of health care for my wife and daughter (I am an old dad, I will be 63 when she turns 18) and what impact it will have on my nest egg.

I have a nice next egg in 401K and Pension, but the math only works if the money in my account actually grows (while I am taking distributions to fund my retirement).

My question is this:
Given a good financial advisor, what can I expect my annual growth % to be in retirement. I know that getting the right advisor is the key, but does anyone have any insight on what an average growth percentage looks like. I have seen 1-2% up to 10% on the internet, but that is the internet. I know many of you are retired....what are you actually seeing???
