As many of you are aware, I've recently taken over my Uncle's estate after his passing which has a bunch of properties in Michigan in it. They are all in some sort of disrepair or vacant lots, and I want to sell them as is. There is a lot of interest in them because there isn't much available in the little lake town where they are. My problem is I just have no idea how to decide what's a fair price to get or ask for?
As an example, my grandparents' old home is Zillowed (yes, worthless) at $350k. It needs to be gutted, so that's not remotely right. It also has a second lot next to it that isn't accounted for in that price. Do I do an auction? Can you take bids? I'm really at a loss.
