Looking to purchase property on the lake that has no dock. Was told the owner has a dock permit, but I would have to apply as the new owner and receive my own permit. As an engineer I have dealt with a whole slew of permitting issues, so that part I am okay with, my question is what am I looking at in terms of price for a new dock? I am sure a lot of factors go into it, including size, water depth, accessories, etc. I am generally looking for a ball park for something like this.
