This is complex. I am pretty ambivalent about the whole trans issue. Except in women’s athletics. As the father of former female track athletes(not high level). I had grudgingly made peace with allowing participation after hormonal manipulation(medical or surgical). Even though it doesn’t completely even the playing field.
But the Olympics require nothing at all. No hormones. Just identifying as female.
So in an admittedly absurd example, Bolt could compete as is as a woman.
