1. Might not be in effect yet, but with the new revenue plan, as long as we’re in the ACC we should not want another ACC team to make the CFP because we wouldn’t get an even share and would give that school a money advantage over us.
2. Maybe Norvell can now get a taste for what it feels like to put effort into a potential game only to have the rug pulled out from under you before said game is played.
3. Less media attention with a playoff berth means they don’t get much of a recruiting advantage over us.
4. Most of us hate them anyway.
5. This provides additional momentum for FSU and Clemson to exit the ACC which is what we want.

I’m a little surprised. I expected the top 4 to be Michigan, Washington, Alabama, Georgia. I expected FSU and Texas to both get screwed in favor of the almighty SEC.
