Speaker Johnson

The NY Post today 😅

Blackmail? From all accounts @SpeakerJohnson was a God-fearing honest and honorable man. His word was always his bond, but after a White House meeting where he reportedly apologized to President Biden he began breaking every commitment he made upon being elected speaker. What happened? Why would he abandon a lifetime of honesty after one meeting with Biden? His son has had many run ins with the law (drugs and theft). Did Biden offer to drop charges against him or threaten to bring more charges against him? Did Biden reveal that the FBI ‘found’ child porn on his computer? Something happened at the White House to cause the speaker to ruin his reputation and turn his back on his party and his nation.

Powerful words from Ron Paul who is a true patriot and statesman.

Who elected this Johnson asshole? How could someone like this piece of shit get into power?

Bought and paid for by AIPAC, which may as well be a foreign agent.

It's not a Chinese or Russian agent, though, so it's accepted

Stay on em hard MTG!!!

I’m calling the motion to vacate Speaker Mike Johnson next week after weeks of warning Mike Johnson to stop giving Democrats everything they want. Now Hakeem Jeffries and the entire leadership team has said they will vote to table the motion because Mike Johnson has given the Democrats everything they want and they know it’s impossible for them to take the majority so protecting him is essentially their way of controlling the Speaker’s gavel.

The vote on the motion to table will essentially reveal the Uniparty in full.

Vote YES to table the motion to vacate = Uniparty member
Vote against tabling the motion to vacate = not Uniparty member

We voted for Mike Johnson to be our Republican Speaker and we must hold him accountable for his actions and failures to our conference or we risk losing the majority next year.

List of Speaker Mike Johnson betrayals:

Passed a 2 part Omnibus with Democrats and majority of Republicans against it that fully funded Biden’s open border, DOJ, FBI with new building, full term abortion, and trans agenda on kids and refused to allow us to make amendments and gave us only one day to read the over 1,000 page bill.

Reauthorized FISA and was the deciding vote against warrant requirements - flipping his position from 6 months ago when he was for warrant requirements to protect Americans.

Passed over $100 billion to foreign wars - $61 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel $9 billion to Gaza (Hamas), $3.5 billion to bring “refugees” to the U.S. from Gaza that Joe Biden says he wants to make U.S. citizens who will get to vote but did absolutely nothing to secure America’s border.

Republican voters are absolutely fed up with being continually let down by Republicans they elect.

Holding ourselves accountable and correcting our course is the way forward to prove to our voters we are worthy of the majority.

This is not too hard of a task to accomplish.

What is too hard is letting our people down.

That’s unacceptable to me.

I ran for Congress to take a sledgehammer to the Republican establishment.

Mike Johnson is basically giving the Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries a big hug and a kiss as they share the Speaker’s gavel together.

I refuse to sit idly by as our Speaker in the Republican majority capitulates to every Democrat demand.

Mike Johnson must resign or be removed.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) became the latest Republican to hit Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over her plan to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).

“She needs her time in the spotlight, you know, and it’s been a while, and I think it’s one last ditch effort to get attention, is what she’s looking for,” Crenshaw told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto during his Saturday appearance on the network.

Crenshaw said there is not “a lot” of support for Greene’s plan to remove Johnson and that a “strong majority” would vote to table her motion-to-vacate she introduced in March.

“It’s based in what exactly — that Mike Johnson brought bills to the floor that were necessary for national security that the vast majority of members wanted to vote on?” Crenshaw said. “So allowing the democratic process to move forward. Our process that we have in our constitution to move forward is apparently the crime of the century, according to these people.”

Greene’s push was endorsed by two other House members, Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), and is expectedto come to the floor next week.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene has never tried to lay out a plan to get border security done along with the supplemental package,” Crenshaw said. “Tom Massie has never done anything on that front. She’s never written legislation on asylum reform, or anything to do with border security, and a lot of us have.”

The Texas lawmaker said “they make it impossible” for the conference to have leverage in the lower chamber when trying to pass legislation and when Republicans are not able to secure a desired deal, Johnson gets blamed.

“It’s a game and voters have to stop falling for it,” Crenshaw said on Saturday.

Some hardline House Republicans are not satisfied with Johnson’s bipartisan dealmaking but have not backed the resolution to remove Johnson from his gavel. Democrats in the House have said they would help save Johnson following the speaker putting Ukraine aid on the floor which passed with bipartisan support.

In the upper chamber, Senate conservatives have also denounced Greene’s effort, arguing that Congress has more important priorities and that Johnson is doing the “very best possible” considering the razor-thin majority he has in the House.

“This is the game they play and I asked voters every day to stop falling for it,” Crenshaw said. “There’s an appearance of fighting here. It’s an appearance, it’s nothing more, they’re not fighting for you. They’re fighting for your attention and that’s a very different thing.”

Crenshaw is a very well known rino so his opinion doesn't hold weight with maga.
