Just my opinion, I think the DNC had Newsome debate DeSantis to see how he did and what the public reaction would be … if he flubbed it (which he did) no harm. If he rocked out, I think Biden would’ve dropped out sooner and Newsome would’ve been the nominee.
Keep an eye on Wes Moore out of MD. Young guy, charismatic, a veteran, and …. outside of a ridiculous EV mandate hasn’t been … too crazy leftie.
