Offensive Line Issues

What yall gotta understand is that injury was the worst case scenario. It not just put our 8th best guy in the game, but it impacted every position except center. Literally everyone outside of Linthicum had to play a different position.

OL is complicated. There is a reason all the stupid kids play DL in high school. There are complex calls that have to be made and a lot of problem solving that has to happen on the fly. That just couldn’t happen.

I have no doubt that we run it fairly well if that doesn’t happen. Mafah simply had nowhere to go. I don’t blame guys for screwing up positions that they don’t have a ton of experience at.

That being said, if you are complaining about our depth issues, you are totally justified! Blast away!

Congrats to the team on the road win!

Tough circumstances, but achieved what they needed to. It is all up to Syracuse now. Either way we will be 9-2 going into USC. 10-2 should be a successful season, regardless of standards. If 10-2 isn't considered successful to you, then don't be a football fan, as you will have no one to cheer for. For those asking for changing all of these coaches, y'all are just out of your minds. I am proud of the guys for hanging in there and going until the final whistle. Go Tigers!

Second Half O

If Dabo is asked if he instructed Riley to shut down the offense in the second half, probably to protect the decimated OL, will he acknowledge it? I am guessing no. Will he blame the defense for yielding 17 straight points despite the O putting them in difficult positions during the second half? I am guessing yes. Love the man but he is consistent.

OT: Weekend Outdoor Cooking Thread.....

Who else is fogging out their neighbors tonight/this weekend?

Will be grilling a couple of Wagyu Filets (part of my order from Snake River Farms) for us tonight. Vacillating between baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes to go with. Leaning toward the sweet potatoes....figure they'll pair well with a thick, rare/med-rare Filet.

Food old Kingsford charcoal and chunks of applewood for the fuel.

Anyone else disregarding the teachings of their Moms tonight and playing with fire?

So, it’s South Carolina week,

And the success of the entire relies on one game.

Doesn’t matter whether or not Clemson makes the ACCCG or the playoff. Determining the success of this season solely rests on the outcome of the scar game. Win, and you just went 10-2(7-1). Lose and your rival along with the rest of CFB has left you behind.

As someone who didn’t think we’d have a record this good (i had us at 7-3 with losses to uga, lville and pitt), I’m excited for the opportunity. What a huge game in DV in two weeks.

As I said at the beginning of the year Hampton is the guy

I am shocked EZ never got a chance but Hampton has absolutely shown he is the guy that needs to be playing alongside AT

If we would have been playing Jones this whole time and our other safety spot would be shored up also

10 games in an they finnaly realized that our defense is better with Woods inside. Perhaps it made sense with UGA but he should have gone inside after that and played Hoffler and Lawson to grow them up. Both have been playing better and better.

All that said Wes is toast

The new guy will come on with plenty of good players to have. We just need to pony up and pay who we got

please explain

Graphic on bc vs smu game said that if smu reached acc championship game they had 91 % chance to reach playoff. It said with acc championship win they had a 41 % chance to make playoff. Makes no sense to me. First of all, I thought the winner of acc championship game was guaranteed spot in playoff. Please help me understand this.
