Where Are They Now? E.J. Williams Edition (2024 version)

2024 Indiana Football Position Preview: Wide Receiver Corps is Deep as New Faces Arrive (note: article projects Williams as a backup)

The second biggest wide receiver on IU’s roster is Clemson transfer E.J. Williams. The 6’4” Williams came to IU prior to the 2023 season and played eight games with three starts. He struggles with injuries and posted only 23 receptions for 281 yards. The biggest disappointment for Williams was likely the lack a single touchdown but that can largely attributed to poor quarterback play and a general lack of opportunities presented to him by IU’s 2023 offense. The injuries are a real concern as it was a carryover from his time at Clemson. He missed weeks three through six last season and did not appear fully up to speed until the season-finale against Purdue where he posted his best game: six catches for 97 yards. Williams should be a big-time possession target on a major threat in the red zone with his size and he could be a really good second outside receiver on sets that have Sarratt move to the slot or on downs that Sarratt or McCulley have rotated out.

As many coaches (including Curt Cignetti) have said, “the best ability is availability” and that certainly applies in a crowded receiver room with guys jostling for snaps.

Online Fundraising

the more information that comes out about actblue and winred's tactics, the more it looks like run of the mill greed from organizations who exist solely to funnel money. To be clear, winred and actblue are the same kind of entity and serve the same function for their respective parties, and it appears they both have the same pattern of crazy amounts of contributions from unwitting victims.

this is why we need to get money out of politics.

entire cottage industry's exist just to take your money. there are scampacs that facilitate this bullshit and its predatory and wrong. automatic recurring contributions should be illegal. make someone click yes every time. make the platforms track the IP addresses of everyone who clicks yes. done.

instead, bad actors on both sides continue to make money by scamming people. and the politicians benefit as well. good luck getting them to regulate their own platforms. Already the Dems are screaming actblue good winred bad, and the republicans are screaming actblue bad, winred good.

meanwhile, we are all getting ****ed by a system that works for nobody.

Brad Raffensberger GA Election

🚨GA ELECTION INTERFERENCE🚨

The GA SOS is up to no good and gearing up to go after the Georgia State Election Board (SEB) members and others not willing to certify the election and/or those willing to shine the light on any potential fraud in this election

Raffensperger sent an email, in a private capacity, that went to a listserv of trial lawyers across Georgia soliciting $5 million by November 1st to help in his effort for a 501(c)4 called “Election Defense Fund”, asking lawyers to donate or contact him via his private gmail account & personal cell phone number

In this email, Raffensperger states, “Election Defense Fund, Inc. is a 501(c) (4) dedicated to protecting this year's election results, and standing up against those who attempt to delay
certification. EDF will identify local election officials who are most likely to not certify or otherwise attempt to interfere with results”

“Election deniers and conspiracy theorists have taken their anger to new levels, employing a variety of tactics including intimidation, legal challenges, and rule changes.”

So Brad Raffensperger, in a private capacity, is raising funds for a c4 called “Election Defense Fund” to stop and/or go after anyone from who will not immediately certify the election and/or pushing back on election fraud in GA!!!

He also included a woman named Alison Meyers if anyone needed more information. Meyers works for the SOS but also has connections to Larry Hogan & Nikki Haley (another anti-Trumper).

When I dug into “Election Defense Fund” I was even more shocked to find Ryan Germany on the Board of the c4 EDF organization that was created in October 2023. He is listed as the Secretary of EDF. The same Ryan Germany who is supposed to be overseeing the Fulton County election as the auditor. The same Ryan Germany who was involved in the corruption of 2020.

Raffensperger specifically targets SEB Board Members Dr. Jan Johnson, Janelle King & Rick Jeffries for their recent rule changes in his email

“In Georgia they have threatened, harassed, and sued election officials.
And as you know, most recently the Georgia State Election Board was taken over by three individuals who have pledged to put partisanship
over sworn duty”

As early voting is underway and with 15 days still to go before Election Day, this is incredibly alarming to have the Georgia SOS, Brad Raffensperger, involved in any outside organization that is planning to target individuals who find election fraud.

Whether this is illegal or not, it is definitely unethical behavior from SOS Brad Raffensperger. The election of 2024 is being set up to be a repeat of 2020, only they will have an additional $5million to go after anyone willing to stand up for election integrity.

Teach me how to Generac

Next week I’ll be in the market to purchase a home standby generator. It doesn’t have to be a Generac. I’m just starting to do some digging on this.

What type trade is best at installing this appliance? I’m assuming electrician.

What’s the best brand or product when it comes to longevity, maintenance, customer service, etc.

Anything I should know that could catch me off guard?

My daughter vs Clemson softball…….

As a preface, this is a look at me (or her) post. Contains proud father content. If you are triggered please don’t read.

But being a long time TI member, it feels like it’s acceptable to highlight a couple of moments your daughter had vs. Clemson.

She plays softball at Anderson University. Every year they travel over to play Clemson. It’s a big deal for all- but it’s especially big for her because she is a die hard Clemson fan.

Every year they’ve played she has done something pretty remarkable.

In 2021 she doubled off of Valerie Cagle

A year later……tank (not Cagle)

And last year she made a diving grab in RF- although YouTube video not downloading.

Pays out of pocket to go to school

Will graduate in May with a double major in Accounting and Finance

Already signed her contract for job out of college

2-time All Conference
All Tournament
Conference player of the Week
Jimmy Johns AU Athlete of the week ( that legit came with a Jimmy John’s sub)
Conference Champion
Played in 2 NCAA Regionals

Anyway……..here is her 15 seconds of TI fame.

If you made it this far thanks for reading.

Ok I admit I was wrong the 12 team playoff is fun

We are entering week 8 and it feels like 35 teams have a shot at the playoff. Before this year, I could give a crap about Iowa State vs UCF, now I am watching til games end. Even the teams with no shot are dependent on other teams winning to dress up their resumes. The lack of divisions in the conferences and the sheer size of the conferences make all results matter for tie breakers.

There is no way this thing doesn't go to 16 teams soon. We haven't even started the selection shows yet and you can just feel the viewership for those shows will be off the charts. I felt pretty strongly that the expansion would diminish the regular season but the stakes seem larger than before only because if you didn't make it before, so what only four teams can. Now if you don't make it, it literally could change your program trajectory.
