Missed the game tonight but can anyone explain how they shot 20 fts to our 5? 5 free throws seems incredibly low
Likely around 9/10 seed line at the moment. Gotta keep winning the homes games and steal one against Pitt or Someone Q1 on the road

Brad never wanted him to leave, but he guaranteed Chauncey Wiggins a starting spot. The rest is written. CW is holding us back, big time.
Imagine, if we had a legitimate star like the Stojakovic kid playing SF. We could’ve easily upgraded Wiggins in the portal.

Zero hustle. We shot a ton of 3’s and didn’t take any advantage of our huge edge in size.
We have been able to level the ball off most of the year (SC game withstanding) but teams who can get a piece of the paint give us fits.
good question, looking back on it , we never could really work the ball inside and prob didnt attack the rim as much as we should have, but that is hindsight.....we certainly didnt get the calls. Refs def picked on shief a little, i thought...

right, if only reeves could be that ...he just seems a little naturally clumsy, but to be fair, i think he had a bad foot injury in high school, and then last year at duke, he missed most of the season for ankle injury? ...
i agree, its basketball, short turnaround on a road trip to play the hottest team in the league right now is a tough draw , we may not be a great team tonight but neither was number one tennessee...
Wiggins is a huge liability in the starting 5 … he’s a role player for shooting 3s only (he’s on about every 3-4 games, at best) … his defense and rebounding is poor for a 3rd year guy w/ his height and agility … he’s wasting his talent by playing so lazy and very soft!

We didn’t hustle, at all. Teams that play soft, get foul calls. Louisville was first to the ball, all night.
You can tell a few guys here have missed being able to bitch and throw shade at the coach.
he logged prob about 38 hard mins a game for several games in a row, played through a calf injury, and now has played through the flu, as did several guys on the team, including lahkin, who also played through the poke and blow to his eye.... not making excuses but hate to see people ride the team so hard after a tough game...
Poor coaching tonight when Ian was not getting his fair share of shots inside …. we gotta force the ball inside against teams more vs longe range shooting contests … we settle too easy, and for bad shots at times …. gotta stick to your identity which is own the paint w/ the Chef & Lahkin

i felt that way when i saw the play live and the replays. Chases big mistake was having too much follow through on his otherwise legit good play for the ball. The finish resembled a swat too much to a discerning ref keeping the policy of the rule in front of their mind. Tough break for chase i felt, but thats the way the cookie crumbles...

At some point Brownell has to realize he is going to be the “Dean of ACC coaches”. He has to start absolutely working these refs like K and Smith did. If he doesn’t 20-5 foul discrepancy will happen again; even when Larry Shyatt level talent is long gone.
I haven’t ridden Ian, once. He’s a warrior and our MVP, but he’s not healthy.
def looked tired, but we cant allow ourselves to be intimidated by a big time away game environment regardless of our fatigue....
