UGA is near the top (as usual) with 28. Penn State comes in second at 27. Ohio State has 26. Washington (which was decimated in the portal) took the most at 29. Our fine feathered friends in Columbia took 25. As did the Damsels of South Bend.
Outside of Washington, this is just take and separate the wheat from the chaff. Beamer is copying Kirby's playbook and UofSC's graduation rate (which is top 25) will follow. The NCAA needs to at least resume the 25 cap. Maybe you give teams like Purdue and Washington an exception when there is a coaching changeover. Otherwise, change the formula used by the NCAA for graduation. Taking scholarships away from a 105 cap will be a lesser punishment.
