The Tigers picked up a late commitment from 2-star wide receiver Aaron Kelly of Marietta, Ga. Clemson's staff had been concerned he would sign with Duke.
Kelly was an afterthought in a 2004 recruiting class ranked 53rd nationally by Rivals.com. He was also overshadowed by 4-star receiver commit Mike McIntosh, who would go on to flip to Florida on National Signing Day.
Kelly ultimately became the Atlantic Coast Conference's all-time leader in receptions (232) at the time of his departure.
Not bad, huh?
