I was pleased with it given we were in the midst of our all too typical garbage time defensive deluge. But I thought it was curious and out of character. Bringing Klubnik back in to immediately hit a deep TD? Dabo hasn’t typically brought starters back in late in a comfortable win.
I wonder if he was pissed about something? Clearly not enough to do much defensive subbing since VA hit for another wide open TD. Maybe two, I can’t remember.
I confess to being pissed with all the garbage time lapses. And I don’t remember it being this bad in prior years. Maybe no team has much depth anymore, especially at the back end of the defense.
The guy next to me felt the TD pass was an attempt by Dabo to cover. I don’t believe that any more than I would believe that our backups had money on the game, lol.
