As I was reading this article tonight about Coach Allen and his wife wanting to be around his daughters it really hit home.
To put things in perspective my life has been a whirlwind since late Saturday night. My father passed away and today we had the funeral. The emotions have been up and down. Up because his health had been in decline and he wanted to go. Down because of the memories and no longer being able to have our Sunday morning conversations.
After the funeral was over friends and family headed their own way. Then the double whammy hit when I watched my son and daughter drive away. My son going only 1.5 hours away and my daughter going roughly 2 hours away back to college. I worried until I got the phone calls that they made their travels safely. So yeah if I were several states away it would be a no brainer to move closer to my children.
