I'm here to apologize for my reaction to yesterday's game. It was WAY over the top. It sucks we lost but hear me out....
IF we beat SMU - we have accomplished the one goal EVERY team in the country has.....
We will be 1 of 12 teams playing for the national championship!
I'm trying to calibrate my mind and emotions to this new world we live in.
The ultimate goal is still within reach.
We gotta get past yesterday and focus on what matters now.
LFG beat SMU! And let the chips fall where they may.
Keep in mind we were just becoming nationally relevant when the 4 team model came along. We capitalized on those appearances to recruit the likes of Wilkins, Lawrence, and Lawrence.
Here's hoping that being in the 12 team field gives this program the needed boost to get back to recruiting at that level!
