Just bought a house in Mt Pleasant and moved in a few weeks ago. AC unit has been working fine. I came in tonight late. My wife has both kids down, and I thought I felt warm. I checked and my Honeywell thermostat was completely off. Went up to attic to check the unit. There’s something called an EZ trap attached to the drainage pipe. It appeared to have debris inside the tube, so I brushed it out well. When I replaced cap, the unit turned back on.
I went outside and the pipe from attic is dripping appropriately with unit running. I’m a little concerned I may have a larger problem though. Anyone have any experience or recommendations?
