Additional Scottie Scheffler arrest video.

Charges dropped (right thing)

Scotty did the WRONG THING. I was scared and did not know who he was. You could tell in his voice he was lying.
Scottie never once told the guy, who he was or why he was in that lane. (to my knowledge). Stay in your car and ask for a policemen.
Bad look for tournament organizers!
Scottie said he asked for a policeman as the dude was hitting him with his flashlight.

again, that's what Scottie said, and I happen not to believe it completely. Do we know for certain the "security guard" with a Police vest hit him with a flashlight?

Fast Food workers say hold my beer.

They no doubt have the hardest job on the planet. We took away insane asylums thus throwing those yahoos out in the public and leaving it up to law enforcement to sort out and expect them to be the best decision maker on a Mcdonal's manager salary.

They have to be better at protecting the citizen from the government though, instead of trying to fill up every jail cell in America, every call they go to.
Really not that hard to understand.

It's where this sick society puts it's emphasis and thereby worships at those feet.

Why should an extremely talented professional ATHLETE have any sway at all with how politics or policies work? You're famous. Great. So were the ancient Gladiators. They didn't affect societal policy.

Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Teachers.
We demand super-human performance and ethics....... unrealistically.
Do we train them, screen them and PAY them like they are the backbone and pillars of society.

No, we pay loose pants, sideways hats, untied too big (expensive) sporting shoe wearing, CURSING - but speaking in rhythm with bad rhymes - Million$/Billion$

Presidents that can hardly reason and those that think the American Public doesn't understand what 'alone' means or what a lie looks like.

Why?
Because America is gutless, lazy, selfish, overly blessed. Unwilling to stand up for was and is Right because you might have to actually "DO" something. You know, for yourself. Your family. Your Country.

Nope.
Let someone else do that. ..
For...
Me.

..........don't get me started.
..........I got started.

Ima stop.

For the few bad examples given there are millions of great interactions weekly but whatever. If you don’t like cops cool but I have no respect for anyone that just blatantly calls everyone a pig. I am retired but I never was a pig or whatever you choose to call us. There are bad apples in every profession. I was falsely arrested when I was living in Columbia going for criminal justice. Instead of just blaming every police officer and calling them all pigs I made sure I would be better than the ones I dealt with and treat everyone the right way and that’s what I did. I made a difference in positive ways for my 25 years on the job and will back every professional police officer out there that’s doing it the right way. Having said that this situation was definitely not the right way of doing things.

First, Thank you for your service!!
I would not, nor could not do what you did for 25 years.

I think the situation was handled the wrong way from both sides, but some people have a he/she is always right attitude these days.

I'm not trying to defend Scottie, but if it's dark and I'm going down the opposite lane of traffic (like the previous cop told me to do), then I'm probably trying to get the hell out of the way. I'm already a little flustered from being later than planned. Then, as I'm trying to get out of everyone's way, a dude bams into my car and grabs into my window yelling at me to stop with a flashlight in my eyes...I think a normal response would be to slightly freak out. I potentially would accelerate to get away from the guy, no matter if it's a cop or not. That seems like a very normal reaction.

Also, what did that cop think he was doing by stopping that car? Nobody was turning into the clubhouse other than credentialed people. There are massive parking lots with shuttle busses at every PGA event.

Maybe you're right. I won't pretend to know all the circumstances.
I see cops and cars everywhere. I'd feel somewhat safe that someone is not going to try and rob me in such a police/public-heavy area, but there are crazy's out there, for sure.

Yeah and I don't even mean like rob me necessarily, but these guys have people yelling their name all day every day. SCOTTIE! I know he's not Tiger, but he's still the number 1 golfer in the world. So i think he's probably a little more on edge than me or you.

Exactly why Scottie shouldn’t have agreed to drop this interaction. If it was me every cop involved would be fired when my legal team was done. I also would be getting paid like a MFer.

You can only guess how many people have been arrested because of these pigs lying.
A pig? Go F yourself. You have zero idea

Guy giving interview needs an ass whipping. His line of questioning sums up his own ignorant self serving mentality. He’s not there to serve Citizens.

I see guys in yellow hoody’s. It’s freaking dark outside. If Sheffler had not been shaken he could have really let that guy have it and embarrassed him.

had a terrible interaction with a Clemson city cop a long time ago who wrongly ticketed me. Just looked him up and he is still a cop for Clemson city pd. He was in his 20s at the time.

Will never forget and it's given me a bad taste and distrust for life. Actually might be a good thing - great learning experience for me

We haven’t talked about his statement in here yet? Romines had to be so pissed he couldn’t sue Louisville PD

I've never had a bad experience with police officers but one of my friends can't stand police. He's an upstanding citizen, extremely successful and isn't a minority so it kind of surprised me. So I asked why?

Turns out he was driving a certain type of car that was favored by drug runners. He said when he used to travel to Charleston often he would get pulled over almost every trip. They had no reason to pull him over. They would harass him and want to search the car. He would comply and then they wouldn't find anything so they threatened to bring in drug dogs. They would ask all kinds of questions about why he had been in Charleston. Guy owned a very successful business there. They would call his business to confirm he owned it. This happened multiple times and would hold him up for at least an hour. He finally told them to screw off when they wanted to search his car and they called in a drug dog and scratched up his car. Basically they abused their power and didn't apologize for it. So he hates law enforcement and I can't blame him.

I don’t understand….. so , if he knew he was being targeted due to the kind of car he was driving, and he wasn’t hurting for money, why didn’t he just trade cars ?
Sounds like a pretty stubborn men. ( just my opinion)

No amount of cats rescued from trees will undo the thousands of innocent people wantonly murdered by cops.

And it's not just the murderers. How would you feel if you lived in Uvalde, and had to come to terms with the fact that your entire police force is a bunch of yellow cowards unwilling to risk their lives to save children?

When was the last time you even heard a story about a positive interaction with law enforcement? Getting let out of a speeding ticket by a "cool" cop doesn't count.
Your first sentence is over the top ridiculous

I get what you’re saying but neither of us understand the feeling of being the most popular golfer in the world who have people doing crazy things to see us or just be near us all the time.
