Wow!! It's going to be harder to reconcile what reality is when bad players start earnestly taking advantage of this tech.
I agree with you on this one Growls, its already too easy to spread false info/“fake news” and now with this kind of tech its going to become increasingly impossible to decipher what’s real and what’s not. This is a major problem for sides of politics and for society as a whole and I’m not even sure where you could begin with it from a regulation stand point.Wow!! From the Hollywood side of things, Black Mirror had an episode this season that explored the use of computer generated reality television in which actors licensed their image to a fictional version of Netflix and then the service was able to generate a show with those “actors” in it through AI. Probably not that far from reality as major studios will rely more and more on AI to generate increasingly mediocre content as a way to cut costs and this is a big part of the current writer’s strike. There will probably start to be a divide between streaming services that focus on quantity and more costly services that focus on quality.
No Name, New Image , No Likeness...AI my FriendThat’s called:

We have Kermit the Frog, Porky Pig, Mickey Mouse, Anime characters……. clear nonhuman characters but we all know created by humans. Mickey is still moving forward at 95 years old and actually has gotten younger looking than his Steamboat Willie days.No Name, New Image , No Likeness...AI my Friend
